Have you ever thought of what you will do when you want to show the photos of a certain family event to the whole family and other relatives at a go? Well, the only option you have, since you took the photos using a digital camera, is to save them into your PC and have all of your relatives or family get into your bedroom or study room to huddle around your 14” PC for one hour as they view the photos. It is quite cumbersome and inconvenient, huh? I thought so! However, there is a much better solution to this, and it is very workable and easy to implement; connect your computer to TV wirelessly! You can also connect it using cables, but the wireless method is much better and easier.

When you connect the computer to TV wirelessly, you can invite your relatives over and have them view all the pictures from the comfort of the sofa in your living room without having them come into your room where the computer is. The Wi-Fi Option
You can use Wi-Fi to connect your computer to TV wirelessly. With this method, however, you will have to have a separate interface between the PC and the TV, because normally TVs are not supportive or compatible to Wi-Fi. The best interface you can use is the Digital Media Receiver. You will connect this interface to the TV using an AV cable, and then the computer will get signals from this interface using Wi-Fi. However, media streaming devices are not needed when you are using Wi-Fi ready TVs.
When using this method to connect your computer to TV wirelessly, however, you need to consider the distance between your PC and your TV before making any connections. This is because at times, the computer needs to be close to the TV for the media receiver to effectively work as an interface. However, all this depends on the quality of your media receiver and the quality of your TV as well as the quality of the PC. You need to have technical support when it comes to determination of the distance needed in using the media receiver interface as a way of connecting your computer to TV wirelessly.
Windows MCE Application
Using the Digital Media Receiver is not the only option you have when you want to connect your computer to TV wirelessly. You can also have the Windows media center edition (MCE) application in your PC, as long as it uses Windows Vista or Windows Home Edition. This MCE application has a wireless connectivity setting. This setting enables images to be sent from your PC to the TV without using any wire.
